Our little friends from the Lebork Orphanage
The Polish Gift of Life has one purpose - helping Polish children in need. When we began our work 30 years ago, it was our intention to bring children with congenital heart disease from Poland to the United States for life-saving procedures they would have otherwise been unable to receive. Thanks to our organization, over 300 Polish children underwent surgery and were given the gift of life. click here for some of the recent names.

In the recent years, these once completely inaccessible medical services have became more and more available in Poland. However, this change has not end our mission to help Polish children. Instead, it has allowed us to broaden our scope and help even more children.  Currently, we provide financial assistance to polish children with congenital heart disease who are listed for an open-heart surgery at a world-renowned hospital in Munich, Germany by Dr. Edward Malec of Krakow, Poland. Additionally, we are now also able to provide assistance to the children’s hospitals and orphanages in Poland by supplying them with everything from vital medical equipment to basic necessities.

The success of Polish Gift of Life would not be possible without the immeasurable help of the American doctors who work tirelessly, and often work pro bono, as well as the overwhelming generosity of our sponsors.
